GAMANA Gampaha / Henarathgoda botanical gardens are located in a little distance of one kilometer from Gampaha, closer to the Gampaha Udugampola road. This is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Sri Lanka. This Botanic Garden is bordering the Attanagalu Oya.
Henarathgoda Botanical Garden, has a land area of 43 acres and adorned a large number of plants, which include ornamental plants and flowering plants. The plant diversity is also high. The Japanese Garden is a very important part of the landscape. Orchid House and the Rose Garden are also beautiful places to explore. A children’s park in the Henarathgoda Botanical Gardens is a great place to have fun playing with children. The playground can be reserved for sports or other trips.
Another attractive place is the Water Park which was recently added to the park. The grassy field is also an ideal place for a relaxing holiday.
