GAMANA This is one of the two main mountain ranges exist in Badulla district. The other main range is Lunugala. The Sinhala name Namunukula means nine peaks. Having said that, this range has nine peaks and the height of the peak of those is 2035 m.
The name of the closest town is also Namunukula. Anyway the major town is Passara which is in A5 main road.
This is a popular mountain among the teams who love hikes. This is a birth place of the popular river Kumbukkan oya.
This is clearly visible to the A5 main road when travelling from Badulla to Passara.
